Release Reading for Return to the Gathering Place by the Waters anthology of Milwaukee Poets, co-edited by English graduate (2012) Bethany Price and including work by a number of UWM current and former professors, graduate and undergraduate students.
Riverwest Public House, 815 E Locust St. Free and open to the public.

Thursday, June 1, 7:00 p.m. 
Release Reading for Resist Much/Obey Little: Inaugural Poems to the Resistance, a 730+-page anthology of political poetry co-edited by Brenda Cárdenas and a host of nationally recognized poets: http://www.spuytenduyvil.net/resist-much-obey-little.html. This reading features Milwaukee and Chicago area contributors Brenda Cárdenas, Ching-In Chen, Jenny L. Davis, Edgar Garcia, Roberto Harrison, Paul Pompa-Martinez, Jose Luis Moctezuma, Amanda Ngoho Reavy, Soham Patel, and Lisa Vihos.
