Two to three times a semester, students in our Intensive English Program have the great opportunity to participate in different field trips in Milwaukee and the surrounding community.
We organize a variety of field trips for all different interests and according to the different seasons. Our students have gone to different sports games, such as the Milwaukee Bucks basketball games and the Milwaukee Brewers baseball games. We have also taken our students to go snow tubing and ice skating in the winter months, museums in the Fall and in the Spring, and even to different lakes during our summer session.
We love organizing these field trips because we want to give our students every opportunity to use their English skills outside of the classroom, to meet new people, and to explore the local culture.
All field trips are paid for by Intensive English Program student fees that are charged to students on their first day of classes. English for Academic Purposes (EAP) students and other international students on campus are welcome to join these field trips, but they must pay a fee. Students can choose not to attend every field trip, but we highly encourage being a part of these awesome opportunities!
