Originally from Indiana, Lindsey now calls Milwaukee home. She completed her Masters in French and Linguistics in August 2019 and her Graduate certificate in TESOL in May 2019 here at UWM.  She also recently completed a graduate certificate in Language Program Management from Columbia University - Teacher's College, graduating in April 2021. Her passion for language teaching started by teaching English to refugees at a refugee resettlement agency in Indianapolis. Afterwards, she has taught ESL and EFL at the elementary, secondary, and post-secondary levels in the United States and France. She also taught French here at UWM as a graduate teaching assistant from 2016 - 2017 and again from 2018 - 2019. Lindsey loves to teach language to help students improve their English and be successful academically and professionally. She loves to see her students thrive academically and personally. Lindsey also believes in preparing her students to be engaged global citizens that contribute positively to their communities. In her free time, Lindsey loves to travel as much as she can, peruse used bookstores, experiment with vegetarian cooking, and play with her cats.
