Regular Admission

For undergraduate programs (Bachelor’s Degree):

Undergraduate students currently in the Intensive English Program can be granted regular (non-conditional and non-foundation) admission for academic study at UWM by  submitting a new TOEFL or IELTS Score that meets regular admission requirements. We encourage students that receive regular admission to take courses in our English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Program to fulfill their general education requirements. Learn more about EAP Courses for undergraduates.

If the student has foundation admission, then the student can be matriculated into UWM with full admission without a TOEFL or IELTS score by completing and passing their required foundational courses. Learn more about the foundational coursework requirements.

Contact Information: If you have any questions, please contact the Assistant Academic Director of English for Academic Purposes Brooke Haley at haleyb@uwm.edu or in Curtin Hall 678.
