CLACS is pleased to announce the recently selected 2023-24 CLACS Faculty Fellows, who will be focusing their projects on the theme,  Building Bridges, Pushing Boundaries.  Fellows will consider how their research and/or artistic expression challenges conventional approaches, pushes boundaries of inquiry and in doing so creates new opportunities for dialogue across communities.

Nancy Bird-Soto (Professor, Spanish & Portuguese), Building bridges concerning Latinx/Latin American/ Caribbean contexts while pushing the boundaries of related identities

Rachel Bloom-Pojar (Associate Professor, English), Community-engaged research and meaningful collaborative engagement

Emily Latch (Biological Sciences), Integrating field biology, genomics, and outreach to advance toad conservation of the critically endangered Grenada frog
