It is my pleasure to announce that I have appointed Tina Freiburger, dean of the Helen Bader School of Social Welfare, to serve as the oversight dean of the School of Education, effective as of January 1, 2021. Hope Longwell-Grice will continue as the Senior Associate Dean of the School. I am looking forward to working with both Tina and Hope on advancing the School of Education. I further want to express my appreciation to Alan Shoho for leading the school over the last 5 years.
