Submitting an Item for the Provost’s Friday Update:
The Provost’s Friday Updates has changed to a monthly Update for summer 2024, with Updates being sent on the fourth Friday during June, July and August. Below you’ll find the schedule for Summer 2024 Provost’s Updates.

The Update now includes an Advancing 2030 Plan Priorities section that highlights accomplishments and announcements relating to the following 2030 focus areas: Student Success; Curricular Innovation; Research Advancement; Inclusion and Diversity; and Workforce and Community.
Submissions from the UWM campus community are included in this new Advancing 2030 Plan Priorities section and should fall into one of the categories – see below. We are coordinating with Marketing and Communications, and you can submit your items for the Provost’s Update by visiting the Marketing & Communications Submissions page and selecting the Campus Announcements form.
As you are filling out the form, check “Yes, Please submit my submission to the Provost’s Office” under “Notify the Provost’s Office” so your submission will be forwarded to us. You will then be prompted to check the 2030 priority/priorities that are most applicable to your submission (please select all that apply). You can see the example below:
With our new process, it is difficult to include late submissions after the deadline date. Items submitted after the deadline will be included in the following Update. Thank you for your understanding.
