All announcements must be approved, and an administrator may contact you for clarification or more information. For department or instructor kudos, be sure to check the box for your school or college so it will be sent to a Marketing and Communications staff member.

Announcements to faculty and staff are included in the UWM Faculty & Staff Updates newsletter every other Thursday. Student announcements are included in the student success/academics-focused student newsletter, UWM: In Session, every other Thursday. Newsletters are on hiatus during the holiday break and spring break.
Fall 2024 faculty/staff newsletters are published on Aug. 29; Sept. 12 & 26; Oct. 10 & 24; Nov. 7 & 21; and Dec. 5 & 19. The academic-focused student newsletters are published on Sept. 5 & 19; Oct. 3, 17 & 31; Nov. 14; and Dec. 5 & 19.
