December 7, 2015  |  News & Events, Provost's Updates

Good morning, colleagues. Here are this week’s updates from Academic Affairs:

Kudos

– Gesele Durham, Academic Affairs, has been appointed to the Commission on Information, Measurement, and Analysis (CIMA) Executive Committee within the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU). The Commission’s purpose is to create a mechanism for APLU institutions to come together to create communities of practice around effective and efficient use of data to guide campus planning and decision-making. Congratulation, Gesele!

– Simone Coneição, Administrative Leadership, has received the 2015 Commission of Professors of Adult Education (CPAE) Career Achievement award. This award recognizes the scholarly contributions of individuals who, over an extended period of years, have deepened the knowledge base of the field through a solid, sustained, scholarly agenda. This is a great recognition of your work, Simone. Congrats!
