Telling Your Story

Coming out to friends and family is a deeply personal act that can take months of preparation. However, the coming out process is a never ending one. What happens when an LGBT topic comes up in class or at work? The same coming out story you gave your family is likely not going to be the one you give classmates or corworkers.

This workshop will teach participants how to tell their story in a way that touches upon universal human values in order to recruit allies to their cause.

The workshop is open to people of all identities, including allies.
