LGBTQ+ Resource Center
The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is one of the nation’s top campuses for LGBTQ+ students and is currently rated 4.5 stars by Campus Pride as on LGBTQ+ friendly University. We have earned one of the highest score attainable in terms of creating a safe and welcoming campus for LGBTQ+ students and their allies.
Part of why UWM scores so high every year is because our dedication to the students’ experience goes far beyond just the LGBTQ+ Resource Center. We actively engage with other departments on campus to create an affirming and welcoming educational environment for all students. Our campus has also been home to some groundbreaking strides for the LGBTQ+ community. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

COVID-19 Office Operations
The LGBTQ+ Resource Center’s physical office is open for the 2021-22 academic year. We are monitoring the Covid-19 situation carefully so that we can continue to provide this space while keeping it as safe as we can. Circumstances may change as the semester progresses, but we anticipate having a mix of virtual and in person options for events. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate our community needs.
If you have questions, need to be connected to community resources, require assistance with navigating campus as an LGBTQ+ student, or have concerns that need to be addressed, we have a number of ways to contact us. You can make an appointment with our staff, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or message us on Facebook.
