Kick off the new year by joining us for a chance to mingle with new and returning students while getting to know our staff. The Coming Out Monologues is an annual celebration for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer identified people to share narratives of hope, support, and triumph. We host the Coming Out Monologues every year during the month of October. Check back in the fall to find more details.
Transgender Day of Remembrance Vigil
The Transgender Day of Remembrance Vigil is an annual candlelight vigil to remember the lives and read the names of those lost to anti-transgender violence, including deaths by suicide. There is a reception afterwards for those who wish to be in community with others. We host our Trans Day of Remembrance Vigil every year on or near November 20th. Lavender Graduation is an annual celebration of graduating LGBTQ+ students and their accomplishments at UWM. The next celebration will be in May 17, 2023. Check back after Spring Break for more details.
