Coming Out Monologues
The Coming Out Monologues is an annual celebration for LGBTQ+ identified people and community to come and show up in a space unapologetically and share their lives, narratives of hope, support, and triumph!

Lavender Graduation
We welcome all UWM graduates to participate. Lavender Graduation, at its foundation, celebrates the achievements of the graduate through the lens of their identity across the spectrum of gender identity, gender expression and/or sexual orientation.

Get Involved

The best way to get involved with our center is to visit the Center! Whenever we need help, we often turn to the familiar faces in the Center first. Otherwise, our social media and Discord are places we post updated opportunities when we update our website.
Visit the UWM LGBT+ Alumni Group on Facebook.
An LGBTQIA+ focused organization that students in the residence halls can join.
A Living Learning Community (LLC) designed to help residential students build connections with peers and feel a sense of belonging at UWM.
An academic program that explores questions about sexuality, identity, gender, community, representation, diversity, assimilation, and discrimination that are both academically and socially significant.
LBGT Student Advocacy Senator works closely with Student Association to advocate for and uplift LGBTQIA+ students, identities, and topics.

UWM operates several different centers to support students in their academic, personal and professional growth, and we aim to enhance students’ knowledge and skills both inside and outside the classroom. UWM is also dedicated to preparing our students to meet workforce demands at the regional, state and global levels. The services provided by these centers play a vital role in helping students deepen their understanding of different perspectives and collaborate more effectively with people from various backgrounds and experiences. The centers regularly collaborate with each other and other campus units to provide exceptional programming and services to students, faculty, staff and the community. The centers and their programs and events are open to all students. Some programs and events may also be open to faculty, staff, and the community.
