Vamos a Leer: teaching Latin America through literacy is a spectacularly useful blog (and more) created by the Latin American & Iberian Institute at the University of New Mexico.  Inspired largely by the Américas Award for Children’s and Young Adult Literature (coordinated by CLACS for its first eighteen years), the blog supports K-12 teaching about Latin America by providing resources to educators, including lesson plans, author and book suggestions, and related materials.
