Awards are for advanced undergraduates (juniors and above) and graduate students. All majors welcome!

1. Donald R. Shea Study Abroad: $500 for study abroad in Latin America/Caribbean. Apply on Academic Works. Deadline April 1.
2. Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowship: Up to $15,000 for undergraduates to continue studying Portuguese for academic year 2020-21. Up to $7,500 for graduates to study Portuguese or a less-commonly taught language of the Americas during Summer 2020. Apply on Academic Works. Deadline March 1. 
3. Research Travel Award: Up to $500 for conference presentation, field research, internships, etc. Apply on our website. Deadline March 15.
4. Ruggiero-Handelman Field Research Award: ≈$1,200 for field research in Latin America/Caribbean. Apply on Academic Works. Deadline March 15.
