Job Position: Social Media Specialist

Job Summary: Work with CLACS staff to identify stories of impact to publish on CLACS’ social media platforms & website

Duties: Recap CLACS’ events on social media; build a collection of alumni and student award recipient testimonials; attend CLACS’ events when schedule permits to photograph/film for social media promotion; conduct interviews of award recipients; actively post and engage with our social media

 Required Qualifications: Interest and proficiency in social media platforms; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills; enjoy working with people from diverse lived experiences; creative, self-motivated, and detail oriented.

Preferred Qualifications: Interest in/curiosity about Latin America and the Caribbean; Experience with photography, video recording/editing and Adobe Creative Cloud; Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese

Compensation: $10/hour

Hours: Flexible schedule, approximately 10 hours per week
