Diverse Ideas presents Eddie Avila, Director of Rising Voices

Eddie Avila is the Director of Rising Voices, a project of the organization Global Voices that uses the internet to build understanding across borders. Rising Voices strives to bring underrepresented voices and communities to the global digital conversation. In bringing these endangered or Indigenous languages into digital media and providing training, resources, microgrant funding, and mentoring, Rising Voices invigorates and rallies more isolated communities.
