John Berges, professor of biological sciences and freshwater sciences, recently published a paper that included many past undergraduate researchers as co-authors. Co-author contributions began all the way back in 2005.

The UWM Report featured Berges and his former students to highlight how undergraduate research began many science related careers for the alum. Many of the past researchers credit their undergraduate experience for preparing them for professional careers within science. Read the article here.
