Colleagues,

I share with you sad news from the School of Continuing Education. Mary Mulroy, a former Director of Grants and Special Projects in the School of Continuing Education, passed away on February 13, 2020.

Ms. Mulroy held a Master of Library Science degree from UW-Milwaukee. She worked in a variety of capacities at UWM, beginning in 1975. Most recently, she served as Director of Grants and Special Projects, and before that, she was the Marketing Director for the School of Continuing Education for about 14 years. Her career at UWM spanned over three decades before she retired, with emeritus status, in 2007.

Our condolences to Mary’s family, including her husband David, an Emeritus Professor of Classics at UWM, and to the many others whose lives she touched.

Take care,
