Subject: Provost’s End of Fall Semester Reminders to Instructors

As the Fall 2023 semester winds down and we all, students and employees, look forward to a rejuvenating break, I want to remind instructors of key policies, resources, and tips for a successful conclusion to the fall semester. The  “Fall 2023 End of Semester Reminders.pdf” (also available on the Academic Affairs Policies, Procedures, and Forms site) has been prepared for you and summarizes vital information for instructor and student success in the home stretch of this semester. I appreciate you taking the time to read and review the materials.

As you are looking ahead to spring, anticipate a message in January regarding the Spring 2024 Beginning of Semester Welcome – though for advance planners we have already posted a suggested UWM Syllabus Template (in Word, on our Academic Affairs Policies, Procedures, and Forms site). In January, the Spring 2024 Beginning of Semester Policies and Resources for Instructors will be posted on that site and distributed to this list.
