The UWM Art History Gallery bought its first crate and  is excited to use it to send its first travelling exhibition to Arlington, TX.  The Nativity will be on display at the Arlington Museum of Art from November 8–December 28, 2014. This exhibition, previously on view in the UWM Art History Gallery in 2012, is comprised of prints from the Emile H. Mathis II gift to the UWM Art Collection and features a selection of original woodcuts, engravings, and etchings from the 1400s–1600s depicting the events surrounding the birth of Christ and the Nativity.  We hope this is the first of many trips this crate will make!
