Art History Graduate Student Presentations IV

Art History Graduate Students Samantha Maloney, Katrina Russell, and Cameron Quade presented on three objects from the UWM Art Collection in Associate Professor Tanya Tiffany’s Proseminar course Tuesday, October 17th. This week the grad students examined a Yoruba Cloth Panel, Edgar Degas’ Dancer, and Suzuki Harunobu’s Girls Playing Game of Ken. Students were asked to conduct independent research on an object related to weekly course readings and present on their findings to the class. This data will be used by UWMAC staff to add to the object files and strengthen collection research. Stay tuned for more presentation information coming soon!
