Physics on WUWM: Entrepreneurial Enterprises and the Hubble Space Telescope

Members of the UWM Physics Department appeared on WUWM twice during the month of February, discussing both research and a program celebrating the Hubble Space Telescope presented by the UWM Manfred Olson Planetarium.

On February 8, 2018, Physics Professors Marija Gajdardziska-Josifovska and Carol Hirschmugl were interviewed by UWM Today host Tom Luljak to discuss how some of their recent research has led to entrepreneurial opportunities in the world of energy storage. Click here to listen to the interview.

On February 22nd, Jean Creighton, the director of the UWM Manfred Olson Planetarium, met with Lake Effect‘s Bonnie North to talk about the role that the Hubble Space Telescope has played in our understanding of the universe, as well as promoting the Planetarium’s program celebrating the life and legacy of the Hubble Space Telescope.
