Physics Undergraduate Advisors

• To schedule a meeting with the Physics advisors, send an e-mail to physics-ugadvisor.
• For information regarding the Physics major program or transferring course equivalency for physics courses email physics-ugadvisor.
• Physics advisors deal ONLY with programmatic matters related to the physics major, including transfer credits.

Course Enrollment

• For questions concerning enrollment in a particular class/section first contact the instructor for the course, found on the University Course Catalog. If no instructor is listed, email the Associate Chair.

General Advising

• For general advising questions, please contact your college advisors.

Repeating A Course

• Students requiring Physics Department approval to repeat a course must first fill out the departmental permission form, which can be obtained from their Program Advisor, and then schedule an appointment with the Associate Chair in the week before the start of the semester in which they wish to repeat the class.
• Students taking a course for the third time have lowest priority for registering for classes. Third attempt permissions are not guaranteed and are subject to a detailed examination of the circumstances that led to the earlier unsatisfactory outcomes.
