Dylan Childs, SURF student in the UWM Department of Geosciences, will be traveling to Portland, Oregon in October 2021 to present in the Geological Society of America’s Connects 2021 Annual Conference. He has received a Conference Travel Award from the Office of Undergraduate Research to help fund his travels. Dylan will be presenting a poster for the project, The Milwaukee Column: A Simple Column Apparatus for Teaching Groundwater Flow and Containment Transport, which he has been conducting under Professor Charles Paradis.
