HBI Open House

Wednesday, August 5 2020 5:30pm - 6:30pm

Join us online on Zoom!

The Helen Bader Institute (HBI) for Nonprofit Management at UWM works to improve the leadership and effectiveness of nonprofit organizations through education, research, and service. Stop in and learn more about the latest initiatives and programming developed to support nonprofits throughout Wisconsin.

In development with HBI, UWM offers two graduate education programs, a Masters of Science in Nonprofit Management and Leadership, and a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management. These are the first graduate-level educational programs in the state of Wisconsin that have been specifically designed for nonprofit managers and leaders. On top of that, HBI’s MS in Nonprofit Management and Leadership is one of only 10 similar programs around the world to be accredited by the Nonprofit Academic Centers Council.

Topics to be discussed during the open house will include UWM’s graduate-level educational programming, HBI’s nonprofit-focused research initiatives, and nonprofit professional development and skills-building designed to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness in the Greater Milwaukee area.
