Darwin Day Celebration

Welcome to the beginning of another semester!
On Feb 17th the Greene Geological Museum will be the site of Charles Darwin’s 215th Birthday with a day of science fun from 10 AM-3 PM. The event itself is a free, all-ages, open-house style event celebrating the life and times of Charles Darwin, as well as the natural history of Wisconsin. There will be a number of activities, including learning tables, children’s activities, lectures, and a ‘touch room’ for robust, touchable specimens at the Thomas A Green Geological Museum, Lapham Hall 168.
If you have any questions about this event, please contact Edward Shelburne (shelbur2@uwm.edu) in Geosciences.
