Two graduate program alum were featured in this month’s edition of L&S In Focus.
Elsa Youngsteadt (’03 MS Biological Sciences) was honored as an Outstanding Alum by NC State. Youngsteadt is an assistant professor in the Department of Applied Ecology at NC State, and her current research focuses on urbanization and climate change. Read more about her here.
Cynthia Vernon (’80 MS Biological Sciences) Was featured as a distinguished alum by Depauw University Vernon is the chief operating officer for the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
