A day-long celebration of 3D visualization technology hosted by UWM’s School of Architecture and Urban Planning and co-sponsored by the Department of Art History and UWM Historic Preservation Institute. From 10:00 am to 12 noon, a symposium “Research applications of 3D Technology” (Engelmann 105, https://uwm.edu/sarup/research-3d-technology/) will feature talks by UWM experts and guest speakers from the University of Maryland and the International Institute for Restoration and Preservation Studies. From 1:00 to 3:00 pm in the SARUP Commons area, a “3D Tech Fair” (https://uwm.edu/sarup/3d-scanning-tech-fair/ )will offer hands-on demonstrations of various 3D scanning tools.
