A presentation by Iranian artist Mahin Ghanbari (MFA, University of Florida) on the Golzar textile collection. Gardens are at the heart of Persian culture, “serving as a physical space for social interaction, religious devotion and scholarly contemplation as well as an intangible ideal of artistry and beauty.” Professor Ghanbari will share “the story of love, family, and heritage, told through the allegorical gardens meticulously crafted into these magnificent textiles.”
