UWM TIS German-English Historical Translation Project with Pabst Mansion – Media Mentions

UWM’s graduate program in Translation and Interpreting Studies set up a long-term partnership with Pabst Mansion in 2020 to translate about 350 letters written from 1841 to 1887 by members of the Pabst and Best families. German-English Translation students Marisa Irwin and Nastassja Myer completed their internship in summer of 2020, under the supervision of Viktorija Bilić, associate professor of German Translation, and Jocelyn Slocum, curator at Pabst Mansion.
