The Roberto Hernández Center will be represented at the Mexican Independence Day Parade. The parade is scheduled for Sunday, September 10th at 9:30 AM.

Last year we had about 30 students that walked with us and we had a lot of fun. You get the opportunity to represent UWM and at the same time enjoy the beautiful parade.

Let Olivia Navarro know if you are interested in participating by Thursday September 7th. You can email her at onavarro@uwm.edu or stop at the RHC to sign up! If you email her please include: full name, email, phone number, and t-shirt size.

You will get a “YO SOY UWM” shirt if you haven’t gotten one in the past. If you belong to a student organization, feel free to invite other members to join as well!

We would meet at 9:00 AM at the Wheaton Franciscan Health Clinic parking lot: 2025 W Oklahoma Ave. 114 Milwaukee, 53215.  

The parade goes until 1:00 PM and there is a festival afterward for those that want to stay.
