Maya McCarthy-Neal (class of 2017) and Ryan Shanahan (class of 2018) received an “Outstanding Presentation” Award at the 14th Annual UW System Symposium for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity. Over 700 students presented their faculty-mentored project, and 17 received the award.  Maya and Ryan’s research project (with Professor Paru Shah) was entitled: “Racialized Campaigns in the States: New Questions and New Evidence.”
