Enes is a PhD candidate in the department of Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. His research interests are diverse, but he mainly studies political attitudes and behaviors toward migration by using experimental methods. He is a member of the Experimental Politics Lab led by Professor Patrick Kraft.

His dissertation broadly focuses on attitudes toward migrants and respective voting behavior in host countries. It examines how the political balance of power affects such outcomes drawing on a survey experiment in Turkey. Prior to joining UWM, Enes earned his Master’s degree in International Relations at Bilkent University. He also worked a research fellow at the Migration Research Center at Koc University in Turkey.
