The Archaeological Institute of America-Milwaukee Society presents “Demons in the Dark: Nightmares in Ancient Egypt,” a lecture by Dr. Kasia Szapakowska, Associate Professor of Egyptology at the University of Swansea.  Dr. Szapakowska will discuss the function of the dream in ancient Egypt, as a liminal zone between the land of the living and the afterlife, over which the dreamer had little control.
