Organized by the Museum Studies class from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, this exhibition explored the expression of moralistic values in art. The variety and juxtaposition of works spanning over two centuries offered an opportunity for the viewer to reflect on the historical and contemporary standards of social behavior with secular society. From extremes on either side of the moral spectrum to the gray areas existing in-between, the artworks shown aim to amuse, educate and create social change through their depictions of moral choices. The viewer alone was asked to decide which was vice and which was virtue.
