Karl Harris serves as a division resource for all financial related planning and maintenance activities. These responsibilities include confirming that departments adhere to UW policy and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. He also serves as a liaison with other campus level departments to resolve issues related to Pre- Audit, Purchasing, General Accounting and the Travel Office.

Additional responsibilities include monitoring budgets, contingent account maintenance, preparing ad hoc reports and training/advising financial support staff in other departments. He also prepares the annual Minority and Disadvantaged report.

Karl graduated from UW- Eau Claire with a BBA degree after serving four years in the US Army. He enjoys the many attractions Milwaukee has to offer and looks forward to furthering his education at UWM.
