Now I’m: Assistant Professor of French in the Department of Modern Languages at UT-Arlington.

I came to Translation & Interpreting Studies because:
I am passionate about the French language, I had studied literature, second language acquisition, and linguistics, therefore I had a natural interest for translation.

What career advice do you have for current or potential TIS students?
Take any opportunity you get. Go to conferences, go to presentations, go to workshops, but also network with other professionals, reach out, volunteer, and most importantly keep learning.
