Translation alums at Opportunities Fair

UWM Translation alums Geneva Scurek (German-English Translation, Spring 2012) and James Doing (German-English Translation, Spring 2016) will participate in the Opportunities Fair for undergraduate students, held on September 26, 3-6pm at the UWM Student Union Alumni Fireside Lounge. The event is organized by Viktorija Bilić (Translation) and Karolina May-Chu (German) and made possible by a grant from the German Embassy and the Goethe Institut for Deutschlandjahr 2019.

Geneva will speak about her work for the German American Chambers of Commerce and James will present on his work experience as a freelance German-English translator specializing in business, legal, and historical translation.
