Madlene Jatta is a fourth-year student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee pursuing an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science with a minor in Health Care Administration and a certificate in Health Information. I will be a MS4 cadet at Marquette University in the fall. I was born and raised in The Gambia, West Africa. My interest in biomedical research comes from my curiosity about cancer research, both its laboratory-based research and its translation into clinical practice. With this cancer research opportunity, I can’t wait to discover how I may be able to positively impact the lives of others! I’m excited to work with MCW to conduct cancer research and publish a report.
