My name is Adam Lahrache, and I am a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I am majoring in Biological Science and minoring in Psychology. I started out doing research at MCW as an intern in the summer of 2024 under Dr. Folefac Aminkeng in the neurology department. The lab is focused on developing a PI3K inhibitor that could eventually be used as a therapy to treat various cancers. After completing my undergraduate studies, I plan to continue my education and apply to medical school. Outside of academics, I enjoy learning new songs on guitar and piano, spending quality time with family and friends, and spending time outdoors.
