This last Sunday the Office of Undergraduate Research was at the Wisconsin State Fair as a part of UWM Day. The day saw representatives from all across the UWM campus showing off what their departments do on campus.

Representing Undergraduate Research were Eric Edwards, Kristen Leer, Ann Hackle, Tessa Miskimen, Sarah Philippi, Hugo Ljungbaeck, Ameralys Correa, Olivia Gloria, Nate Stewart and Danielle Hobach. Students brought various visual aids and samples from labs for fair goers to interact with. These varied from being able to examine a 16mm film reel, learn how a reflection can alter your motor control, and view slides of a brain under a microscope. Thank you to the students who helped make our booth an informative and interactive experience and thanks to everyone who came by to learn more about undergraduate research.
