The Center for Economic Development (CED) provides a wide range of services to on campus and community clients who want to apply university research and technical expertise to the problems impacting the quality of life in our region.
CED supports economic development efforts in predominantly minority neighborhoods and helps build the capacity of community-based organizations to participate effectively in local economic development efforts. Our research on economic development policy issues informs public debate and is frequently cited as part of the policy-making process.
Our services include: data analysis, economic development planning, feasibility studies, grant preparation, labor market research, market analysis, revitalization analysis and planning, policy research, program evaluation, project design and implementation, resource identification, strategic planning, and survey research. Clients typically are governmental agencies or nonprofit entities.
