Benjamin Schneider teaches introductory courses on short fiction genres, prophecies, and coming-of-age narratives and upper-level seminars on nostalgia, textual dialogue, satire, and punk. His recent course titles include “Contemporary Prophecies,” “Dirty Realism,” and “Nostalgia.”  His scholarly interests lie in are the areas of Film Studies, Popular Culture, Genre, and Contemporary Literature.  Dr. Schneider is the recipient of the campus-wide UWM Academic Staff Outstanding Teaching Award and is a member of the UWM Ombuds Council.  Ben is also the Honors College Student Publications liaison.
