To Enter

  1. Prepare three clean copies of your essay with your name and your instructor’s name deleted. Pages should be numbered and stapled, with your title on the first page.
  1. On a separate sheet of paper, provide your name, current e-mail and street address and phone number, along with the essay’s title and the course (course section, instructor, and semester) for which you wrote it.
  1. Turn these in to the Honors College office (Honors House 154) by 4:00 PM on Friday, April 10, 2015.

PLEASE NOTE: We encourage you to revise and thoroughly proofread your essay before submission. A good place to start would be your instructor’s comments; you may also wish to consult with him or her directly. Because your paper will now be read by judges who have not seen the original assignment, make sure that your introduction clarifies the subject and context of your project.

2. Students may submit only one paper per year. If you were in both a 200-level
and an upper-level Honors seminar, you may enter either category, but not
both.

  1. You must currently be enrolled in the Honors College to enter the contest.
