The Wisconsin nonprofit sector is experiencing significant challenges due to substantive operational changes caused by COVID-19. This includes considerable disruptions in nonprofit finance directly affecting revenue streams and cash flow. Nonprofits have often faced situations of financial uncertainty in the past, but the scope of current matters requires the honing of tools and techniques to weather the current crisis. The Helen Bader Institute (HBI) for Nonprofit Management at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee (UWM) offers this online workshop series to provide tools and training that can help nonprofit managers better deal with current financial uncertainties.

This workshop is offered fully online each month to a cohort of nonprofit leaders. Participants are allowed three weeks to complete four self-paced learning modules. There is also the option of participating in a scheduled monthly meeting with the instructors at the end of the series to address any final questions and concerns.

Participants should have a basic understanding of nonprofit accounting methods to participate.
