Intermittent Furlough Day – Friday June 19th
The first of the all-campus intermittent furlough days is Friday, June 19th . The complete, Intermittent Furlough Schedule and related policy information can be accessed at: https://uwm.edu/coronavirus/faqs/what-are-the-dates-for-intermittent-furloughs/
Some departments in FPM require staff to be on-site during assigned Intermittent Furlough days, so there will be a process to request exceptions. Please reach out to your supervisor if you have questions related to Intermittent Furlough days.
Planning for Fall 2020 Semester
UW-Milwaukee has invested great amount of planning and expertise from across campus, including representation from all FPM units, to develop processes and procedures to bring faculty, staff, and students back to campus for Fall 2020. The goal is to balance the return of some campus operations while providing a safe and healthy campus environment. Reports from UWM’s Emergency Operations Committee (EOC) and the Provost’s Academic Preparedness Group were due the week of June 1st. Campus leadership will utilize the reports in critical decision making to map out campus occupancy this fall; including staff/faculty working environments, student housing, classrooms, research laboratories, and other campus spaces. Please watch for final plans to be shared from campus soon.
