UWM’s institutional accrediting body is the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).

Accreditation reviews are performed on a ten-year cycle. UWM went through a reaffirmation of accreditation process in 2022-2023. As of August 28, 2023, our accreditation has officially been continued, with the next reaffirmation occurring in 2032-2033.
