It is with much sadness that I would like to inform you that a former UWM employee, Barbara Faucett, passed away on Monday, August 8. As many of you will remember, Barbara served in several executive roles here at the University. She was the Director of Human Resources for many years, and then concluded her career as a Special Assistant to the Chancellor under Chancellor Nancy Zimpher. She was a friend and mentor to many. The family will be holding a private service for her. However, they wanted her UWM family to know of her passing and extend their warm regards for your positive interactions with her during her time here.  She is survived by her son and daughter, and her beautiful granddaughter Gabriella.
