The Week:

Monday and Tuesday

I will be mostly tied up with the HLC accreditation visit for both days. Tuesday afternoon I have a number of meetings with direct reports and I end the day with a planning meeting for the System Provost Retreat that will take place in June. (I am on the planning committee.)

Wednesday

I meet with Dr. Joyce, CHS Dean Candidate, first thing in the morning. I also have a meeting with the Chancellor and VC Michael Laliberte to finalize the agenda for next week’s CEMAT meeting. This will be followed by my weekly meeting with the Chancellor. I then have meetings with direct reports and we have the Length of Service Awards in the afternoon.

Thursday

I meet with Dr. Whaley, CHS Dean Candidate, in the morning. After this meeting, I will go to the APBC and then a meeting downtown. In the afternoon, I have the wrap-up meeting with Dr. Joyce. In the evening, I attend the College Possible Dinner here on campus.

Friday
I start the day by doing the welcome addresses at the UW System Symposium for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity as well as at the CIE Annual Conference (see below). I then have a number of meetings with my direct reports followed by the Budget Communication Taskforce meeting. I will then have the wrap-up meeting with Dr. Whaley. In the afternoon, the Chancellor and I continue our school/college meetings – this time with CEAS. In the evening, I am at the United Community Center 45th Anniversary Dinner.
